Lab Retreat 2025

The 2025 Lab Retreat of the Vision & Cognition group (the lab of Pieter Roelfsema). This time I wasn’t involved in the actual organization, but was very excited for an extended weekend in Nijmegen with my colleagues. We visited the MuZieum to experience what it’s like to be blind; which of course is very relevant considering that it’s one of our aims to understand and recover vision in visually impaired people.

I gave a short talk on statistics (the problem of multiple comparisons). Pieter gave an overview of what the lab is working on at the moment and Jake gave a workshop on scientific image editing. Together with a couple of sunny, yet chilly hikes, the retreat flew by.
